Continuing on to Kandy, which is home to the Sacred Tooth Relic of Buddha, you will visit Pinnawala, the orphanage that houses the largest number of elephants in the world. The pinnacle of your vacation will be another beach stay at a stunning hotel along the southern coast.

Wilpattu National Park

Located in Sri Lanka’s northwest dry zone, Wilpattu National Park’s “Willu” (natural lakes),My Vacation Sri Lanka which are sizable, sand-rimmed depressions or water basins that collect rainwater, are the park’s distinctive feature.

Sri Lanka’s biggest and oldest national park, Wilpattu, is also one of the best places in the world for a leopard sighting.

Kandy

Some of the most important historical landmarks in Sri Lanka can be found in theMy Vacation Sri Lanka town of Kandy, which is located in the country’s central hills.

The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Buddha must be explored in order for a trip to Kandy to be considered complete.

One example of a building that links the Royal Palace and the Temple of the Tooth Relic is the colossal ensemble of Kandy. It was one of several temples constructed to contain the relic. Even though visitors cannot view the tooth itself, the temple and its environs are incredibly beautiful.

In addition, Kandy is well known for the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens and the magnificent Kandy Esala Perahera, which features a procession of vibrant dancers and elephants.

Pinnawala is a riverbank sanctuary that was founded in 1975 and provides medical attention and care for displaced and injured elephants. Some of these orphans are fortunate enough to have their offspring born in the same location.

The orphanage was initially intended to serve as a tourist attraction, but it quickly evolved into a centre for education and conservation. Pinnawela began a scientific captive-breeding programme for elephants with the assistance of international and local specialists on elephants. Hundreds of elephants are cared for with love and affection at the orphanage. Every day, the orphanage’s elephants take a bath in a neighbouring river.

A payment of 100% is to be settled 90 days prior to the date of arrival.
Any amendments (to the agreed-upon tour) within 45 days of the arrival date is chargeable.
The customer shall pay all bank charges in the case of a bank transfer.
There will be no additional postage fees or booking fees.
Cancellation charges of 100% will be applicable 45 days prior to the arrival date.
If your behaviour could cause danger, damage, or a persistent offence, you will be informed of the fact, and your holiday may be terminated without compensation. This is for the safety and benefit of fellow travellers. You may also be held responsible for willful damage.
Any complaints must be pursued as soon as possible with the supplier of the service (e.g., the hotel manager) or our local representative (if present), and if matters are not satisfactorily resolved, you must notify the company within 24 hours, by e-mail, in a further effort to rectify the situation amicably.
